I updated my laptops BIOS (for stability improvements which worked) and now the 860 Evo in the system won't be picked up by Windows Explorer, and shows as a 0 byte ASMT drive in disk management. Command Prompt and Disk Management was unable to format the drive, and neither were the numerous third-party partition managers. The PC won't even boot or let me access the UEIF if the drive is plugged in during boot. I tried wiping the drive while on a Linux Distro off of a live USB but that also failed. I also created a Windows installer hoping it would be able to format the drive but that was also a failure as the drive was read as being MBR and unrecognized file system. Strangely enough, I am able to recover data off of it using data recovery programs, but not format it. Do I have any other options left or a program you've used that worked at all for this situation?
