SSD failed?

I'm not sure if my SSD failed or not. I was using google chrome when it all of a sudden the comp crashed and restarted. Now, everytime I try to start the comp it says Windows could not load. I get 2 options: Startup Repair and Start Windows Normally.

I went into Bios and this is what it says under Standard CMOS Features:
IDE Channel 0 Master [None]
IDE Channel 0 Slave [Optiarc DVD RW AD-72]
IDE Channel 1 Master [None]
IDE Channel 1 Slave [OCZ Vertex Plus]
IDE Channel 2 Master [None]

Does this mean that my SSD failed?

Have you checked the cables that plug into the SSD and mobo. Mine used to come loose.

Isn't the SSD on IDE Channel 1? And you have an IDE SSD?

IDE channel? what the heck? how did you namage to connect SATA to IDE lol
Try to install new OS to different drive. It could be that your MB went nuts too.

I have no idea you guys lol. I bought a barebones kit from Tigerdirect and my friend helped me build it.
Maxinexus-I dont have another drive lol. I've been trying to find a good deal on an HDD but I dont want to pay 80 bucks for a 500 GB HDD
