Question SSD is running low on storage without doing anything?

So the other day I launched Rainbow 6 to play with friends and I get a notification that my SSD is low and I mean I have 700 Mb left! This is awkward because a couple of days ago I checked and I had at least 7 gigs of storage. I had games stored on my SSD for some reason namely Fortnite which had been rusting there for about a year. I deleted Fortnite and then I got 64 gigs of storage back.

I then ran a Malwarebytes scan (I have premium for 14 days) and it found nothing (Malwarebytes does a scan twice every day). The scan came clean and all the past scans were also clean so that's that for now. I then quit Malwarebytes and continued playing R6 with my friends. After one match I noticed I had 100mb less than before.

I quit the game to go on google to search for some people with my problem or at least a similar one and then I come back and see that the 100 MB I lost somehow were back. I have no idea how this happened. After that I did a full virus scan with avast (don't know if it scans for all malware) and after about 20-30 minutes it came clean.

I still had some speculations so I shut down my PC and removed the ethernet cable and now I am here. Anyone know how to solve this issue? Anybody else encountered it? and finally what's the chance its a worm?

See if you have the CBS log file issue. It is not common but I've seen it several times recently in Windows 10 no less.

Thanks for your reply!
I have used TreeSize to check and most I have a little problem. Treesize says I have used 164 gigs of my C: drive and when I go on to settings and storage and its says I used 153 gigs of storage. While using TreeSize it told me that most if not all is used from steam games and windows. I checked the folder you told me and found that the folder contains less than 1 GB of storage. I understood what was taking up most of the storage but I still don't know why my storage goes up and down while playing games or just being on google. I lose about 200 megabytes. Sometimes I also magically regain storage as well. Why does this happen? Can it be malware?
