[SOLVED] SSD M2 Wd Green Slow 4K

Hello guys,
I recently bought a new m2 ssd for my computer (WD Green SSD M.2 480 Gb) and take a various tests of them.

In my tests this rate of transfer in 4k is pure slow.

I looked for a test on the internet and found this 240gb model.

The question is my ssd is defective?

This tests can be very hard to make properly. And are usually not hard rock reliable.

I would restart the PC, wait till you can see Windows dektop, and then wait at least 10 more mins (avoid doing anything with the PC on those 10 mins), if you want is not a bad idea to unplug the ethernet cable or disable the Wifi to avoid software updates in the background.

After that run CrystalDiskMark and run the test again.

Remember don't run anything before the benchmark and don't do/run anything while the benchmark is runing either.

I maked something similar of this and make tests again the result is the same. This SSD is only for games and not have other software installed.

All plataforms (Steam, uplay) are closed in background.

Yes, this feature is enabled.

My processor is ryzen 7 2700 in 4.0 Ghz (all cores).

your motherboard supports M.2 NVME 4 lanes .. why did you buy slow SSD ? there are cheap intel 660p ssd by the way. and much faster.
