Hello everyone. I have noticed some storage changes after I restarted my PC.

When I boot my PC, it says that I have 17.8GB storage left.
When I restarted my PC, it now says it has 29.9GB.

What could be the possible cause for this?

Solution
cache cleaning
apps on the SSD were closed
update files of windows were dumped
eventually trash was emptied while restarting

a restart will clean leftovers and therefore can get you more space afterwards

How large is disk , it's purpose and OS ?. Windows 7 and up have automatic disk cleaning every month or 10 days. That much difference could be on account of temporary folder windows.old created after larger updates and deleted after some time.

Thank you for the explanation. It just seemed weird to me that the gap was huge with more than 10GB of space restored.
