Two reasons for me feeling cheerful tonight:
a) rummaging about to find a book on the Maroons of Jamaica I found 'ideal
House Designs 1984. 125 house plans. Enough to keep me building for a good
few days. and

b) bliss. While moving in the 'Hoity-Toity' family, I was offered the
debugging mode in the build a Sim catalogue.
Mr Nigel Hoity now does his workout in a fluffy blue bunny suit, albeit
without the head. I really couldn;t do that to him - could I?
Off he went to greet the visiting neighbours his little bunny feet going
flip-flop along the path; his little white bob-tail bouncing up and down.
Gawd knows what the neighbours thought.
Kept me amused for ages; especially playing the piano with mittens on.

Granny - easilly pleased it seems.
Ooo. Must have him romance his wife. Bunny making out? I wanna see.

I have several house plan books laying around here and there are numerous
sites online with even more. The only problem is that almost all of them
have attached garages which are totally useless to the sims. Often, when
you try to lop them off, the houses look oddly out of kilter. I have one
book of only house plans from the 1920s, when the craftsman style bungalow
was all the rage in the US. However, without fail, those houses are far too
boxy to have interesting roofs.

I find myself in "sim mode" a lot when I'm out and about, looking at houses
and saying to myself, "I can build that one in the game!" That's what I did
this week when I helped a friend's daughter move out from a house that was
fairly nondescript on the outside, but had a very interesting kitchen.

Maybe they'll woohoo like rabbits now, ya think? LOL

I downloaded some transparent bedding (I can't remember from where, but I'm
betting it was MTS2) and you can see them woohooing under those clear
sheets. Quite a trip.

...except as, like in the real world, workshops or a place to practice the
electric guitar or some such. 😛 Put a bunch of random decorations in,
preferably tacky ones, to get the Room score up, and your easel, guitar &
amp, chemistry set, etc...

Playrooms, dear. Fill them with pinball machines and pianos.

My book is very British in style. I can't say i go for a lot of the plans
which seem to include long, dark passages where the sun don't shine.

I think I will stick to developing my Edwardian area. Red brick rampant and
outside loos.

Good heavens did Maxis actualy include animation for under those heaving
bedclothes or are they imported from some other... er, artist?

Make a transparent changing booth next, i suppose. <deep sigh> So sad, to
think of all the mystery and romance going out of the odd encounter in a
changing booth - apart from the camera on top and the crowds cheering
outside, that is.
Nobody has tried to woo-hoo in my posh Herrods Department Store yet. They
wouldn;t dare.

Quite, except in the real world unused garages round here turn into junk
rooms... Sorry, 'storage areas'.

Easels, are an interesting suggestion. Quite a few of my Sims have neat
little workshops in the back garden containing a few counters, a sink,
coffee pot, radio, old sofa and an easel.
<big sigh> Guess what i would like in my back garden.....

And just to be extra stupid, I make sure all the big widows face north. What
a waste of time! These Sims will paint happily in pitch darkness.

Tut! He has been to the vets and been done. Already have two little Toity
daughters, and that's quite enough.
Sealed the doom of the Curious Brothers just now. All married off in one big
ceremony, lining up to use a single arch, almost. Nearly turned pear-shaped
when Vicund decided to go off to work in the middle but I stopped him.
Magic mirror enabled visiting brother, is it Pascal? The one with the green
son, anyway, get hitched to Bingo Bertha one of my Sleazy ladies. Vicund has
already proved his manhood with mother-to-be Circe who is throwing up like a
fountain, and Lazio and his little townie gabbled 'I will,' and 'I will'
then rushed off upstairs shedding cake crumbs as they tumbled into bed.

Ah, how different from the home life of our Dear Queen. Oh, I don;t know
though....

Granny - and now to bed.

YEs, but are you shedding cake crumbs?

(please don't answer that. I don't want to know, really)

This is the original Maxis animation. I'm not going to describe it to you,
you can watch it for yourself. Not too racy, but fun anyway.

They probably do nothing inside the clothing booth but stand there. At
least in the bed there are arms and legs flying out from under the covers.
