start-up not working properly

win 10 on start-up the screen blinks on and off5-8 times before the sign in screen finally appears, also does same thing when in sleep/hibernate mode upon waking homepage goes on and off 5-10 times before page stays on screen

try upgrading graphics card drivers

Turn off fast start up: http://www.tenforums.com/tutorials/4189-fast-startup-turn-off-windows-10-a.html - that should stop it happening at start up

Try updating BIOS

Something on your PC doesn't like hibernate, as its the reason start up and sleep/hibernate act the same. They both use the same process.

Thank you for assistance, as of now appears to have worked, it also seems hibernation is working better also. I am not sure about updating BIOS (don't want to mess it up) and my graphics card is part of a Express chipset and is up to date from what I have been able to find out, again many thanks!!!!!
