I keep getting a bsod saying:

ALCXWDM SYS is a driver for an onboard sound card - as such, I'd recommend
that you go to the motherboard manufacturer's web site in order to download
the most current driver. If you've got a mainstream system (Dell, Compaq,
HP, Gateway, etc) then I'd go to their site for the updated drivers.

CAVEAT - this may not fix the problem, but it's a start before moving to
other drivers and seeing if your system has had any essential operating
system files corrupted.
