Stop The Recounting, Err, Recompiling

Is it just me or does anyone else see any parellels between the presidential election and Tom's last two articles on the Pentium 4? Must we look for dimples in the chad to find the performance of the Pentium 4? How many hand recounts are necessary? Keep searching, Tom, until you get the results you want.

tom should redo all his benchmarks, it's clear that tom is
so bias that he's even starting to walk funny.

Redo the benchmark? For what? You are most likely getting 0.01% difference since the benchmark setup can be duplicated by anyone with P4 and the same configuration as Toms test bed.

Redo all the benchmark when all the software has been recompiled to include SSE2 support... maybe yes. But when?
2 years time?
