I was just using my Lenovo Legion Y540 laptop running Windows 11, simply playing spiderman remastered when suddenly my game's fps dropped suddenly and significantly, my laptop seemed frozen for a second until I tried to Alt-Tab out of the game, the moment I did I encountered this strange beeping sound, 5 beeps to be specific, the 3rd and 4th ones being closer to each other than the other beeps (shorter time interval between them). I'd NEVER heard a laptop make that sound, and I highly doubt this is a motherboard issue as this was during normal use, not during POST or booting up. I couldn't record the sound when it happened, but I could find a YouTube video posted by someone who had the same issue, only in his case it was 4 beeps only. Here's the link to said video:

Does anyone know what this is? I'm worried it's my hardware but I don't see any signs of hardware failure and I'm having trouble finding people who've experienced the same issue.

If your read through the video's comments, the person who uploaded the video said he reverted to a prior version(using system restore) and the issue went away. I'm leaning on your OS being corrupt. Where did you source the installer for the game?

You can try and make sure that:
a| your laptop's BIOS is on the latest version
b| your OS isn't pending any updates
and
c| when the issue crops up, see if you can reproduce it. Once that happens, you can then grab a screen recording with audio and what you're doing when it occurs.
