Question Stuck at 2133mhz

Hi, i recently got Msi mag z390 mortar Motherboard that supports up to 4000mhz ram i i think, i have a intel core i7 7800 and vengance 16gb 3200mhz ram, but the ram frequenzy won’t go up to 3200 in the bios, it stand still at 2133mhz. How do i fix this?

Depending on how many memory stick you have they need to be placed in certain spots to work correctly. For two sticks they need to be in the A2/B2 slots as seen in the pic.

From there go into the BIOS and enable XMP and you should be all set.

Well, somehow i managed to fix this but now i’m stuck at 1600mhz....

Nope that's correct, DDR (Double DATA Rate) so 1600=3200.
