Question Stuck between gpu choice

I’m new to pc’s and am doing a budget build and my gpu choice has come down to two options. An MSI Geforce GT 1030 or a Yeston GeForce GT 1030. Both are low profile gpu’s. The Yeston has 4gb and is DDR4 and the MSI has 2gb and is DDR4. Is Yeston a good and reliable brand (from my research they apparently are) and is the Yeston gpu good? I can’t find much information online but comparing the prices of the two it may seem too good to be true. Thanks in advance.

Is there a specific reason you need a low profile card?
What planned usage for this build?

The 1030 is not going to be particularly powerful. If you are looking at this to view spreadsheets that isn't going to matter. For gaming it will, and by a lot. In the latter case, there are such as the low profile 1050 ti that would perform well better. Even the now aging 750 ti would be a stronger graphics card. Either of those would require consideration of the power supply on hand.

I am not explicitly familiar with Yeston as a brand. I have owned multiple MSI cards and liked most of them.

I’m using a low profile because I’m running a sff desktop the Elitedesk 800 g1 to be exact. My planned usage is school work and gaming. Nothing extravagant just stuff like cs:go, r6 maybe, etc. I know the 1030 isn’t powerful but its within budget and I have to penny pinch. Both cards have basically the same specs except one is 4gb. I cant find a DDR5 either within price range so DDR4 will have to cut it. I will take a look at the 750ti and 1050ti and their prices.

Yes it is.

Go for the YESTON GPU brand/company. You also get 4GB of VRAM. Even the MSI model is good, but many peeps underestimate YESTON due to it's lower price than other brands. But this hardly matters.

I mean, Yeston has made great strides and is making notable achievements since its inception. Through its extensive channel support and loyal consumer groups nationwide, it has gained the trust of gamers with its outstanding product quality and thoughtful after-sales services.

Yeston is a legit brand of china. It produces top-quality computer hardware at a low cost. However, in general, Yeston GPUs are considered good options for those who are looking for quality without spending a lot of money.

Yesto is a subsidiary of
Colorful Technology, which is a well-known and respected company in the PC hardware industry. It produces customized cards with customized shrouds. Shenzhen Yingjiaxun Industrial Limited company actually manufactures Yeston GPUs.

The company was founded in 2000, specializing in R&D, manufacturing, and marketing computer accessories. Also, there are other options to consider for a low-profile GPU from different brands, but if you are on a strict budget then go for YESTON.

So would you recommend the specific GPU I mentioned for a good introduction to gaming and budget build or should I save for a 1050ti and what not?

@Metal Messiah. that message feels like it was pulled straight from a script. I don't mean that in a bad way at all. Very informative. I was not aware of Yeston, in particular, but am familiar with Colorful. Thanks for the post.

It really did feel like it was copy and pasted I even had to check the dudes profile to see if he was a Yeston bot affiliate or not haha. But maybe hes just enthusiastic about the Yeston brand and name.

What CPU are you planning to use? There are some GPUs that now include an iGPU that rivals or beats the GTX 1030 in some games, and you might be better off with that solution instead, depending on budget and power supply constraints. The best GPU I know of that does not include external power connections is the GTX 1050, which would be better than any iGPU, though not by too much.
