Stuck Between the Galaxy S6 Edge and Note 4

My contract is ending soon and I want to make a choice between the Galaxy Note 4 and the Galaxy S6 Edge. I like the Note 4, but the screen is big. I like the idea of the Galaxy S6 except I am sure it will have bad reviews. Should I wait till the release on April 10 or get the Note 4?

Why do you think the S6 edge will be received poorly? Aside from questions about the utility of the edge displays, if you're alright with an internal battery and lack of card slot, the phone should be plenty capable.

I dont think it will be bad, but I just hate the path they are taking with no removable battery or sd card slot. Although, I will get the 32 GB if I get the S6. I just want to see opinions. What do you think I should get?

It sounds a bit to me like you're answering your own question. While the performance should be great, those are the questions Samsung phone users will have. If you want the replaceable battery and card slot, the Note 4 is a fine phone.

The Note 4 is not even a year old yet and it will be a long time till then. I am getting a phone within the next month.

I guess it depends on how particular you are. The note series are some of the larger phones out there, and adaptability to a super large phone is a bit subjective. As to internal specs and capabilities, the details differ and the S6 will offer newer components which may be faster, as well as a newer version of Android. Reportedly the Android image used for the S6 will be "leaner" with less Samsung bloatware too.

If you aren't a super heavy or discriminating user aside from the battery and SD questions, the Note 4 should still be quick and capable.
