Question Stuck or dead pixel?

Hi, I am running an ASUS VG248QE, and I suddenly found that everytime I have some sort of dark colors on my screen, on pixel turns red and does not change, but when I go back to bright colors the pixel works fine. This means if I hover my cursor over it(while on a dark background), the red pixel disappears. I wanted to know if this is a dead pixel which cannot be fixed or a stuck pixel, as the definition of stuck pixels online say that they are either red, green or blue at ALL TIMES.

I'd say it's a stuck pixel since a dead pixel would produce a dark blot on the screen around where the pixel in question is. You might want to contact seller and Asus for the issue you're facing and arm yourself with a video to prove your point.
