Set up:
NVIDIA 1080ti
Intel I7-8700K at 3.7 GHz
ROG Maximus X APEX motherboard.
My problem happened when I was trying to install some overrclocking software ( I wanted to try a different program) and it made my rig reboot. After that it had difficulties rebooting. When I was able to get it going, I noticed performance drops in every game I own. Low frames, unstable frames, etc. I can't get my old performance back and I'm at wits end. I used to be pulling 100+ frames on Rainbow Six. Now I can barely pull at stable 60.
I've tried removing the CMOS battery
Tried cleanly reinstalling graphics drivers.
I've tried dusting off the inside of my case too.
