[SOLVED] Suddenly I have very limited choice of Display Resolutions with NVIDIA GeFORCE RTX 3080 Ti ?

Display adapter NVIDIA GeFORCE RTX 3080Ti

Windows 11. Suddenly display settings are locked at 1024x768 or 800x600. Cannot access other settings.

Have been working before. Also screen image is now more narrow. Cannot access other display settings. Did Windows 11 update, but no change. Tried NVIDIA control settings, but still no joy.

When using Fire TV Stick 4k Max Streaming device for movies I have full screen.

Monitor Benq X3000i @ 120hz

Any ideas?

Use DDU to uninstall your GPU drivers, reinstall with the latest of of Nvidia's support site in an elevated command, Right click installer>Run As Administrator.

I used Device Manager to uninstall GeFORCE RTX 3080Ti

Went to NVIDIA support and downloaded driver (SD). About 700mb. Reinstalled. Same situation.

I am not as computer literate. Perhaps I misunderstood your instructions?

Only way I know to completely remove a corrupt driver.

Thanks. I have DL the DDU. Created a system restore point. Now about to use it and then go back to my downloaded NVIDIA driver. Not sure how to use admin. Crossing fingers!
