This drive reminds me of the 5 1/4" days... "Please Insert Disk 2 to complete loading MS-DOS".... only these days it would probably say "Idiot, I can't load Win 7 with just one of these" ....

65$ for 8GB? I think 25$ for 8GB is a much more logical price. This is a marketing product. "We have the cheapest SSDs". Pure marketing. Total fail and NO respect for the customer. And I am betting that the two little models are using the JMF602 controller.

Shoot yourself on your foot when you buy one of these 8gb drives...
The drive that has 8 times the capacity and 60mb faster in reading and writing does not even cost 3 times more...

8gb = $ 65
64gb = $175

If it is $25, I may will do a raid with 4 of them. But I may also save me time and power consumption by just 1 64gb drive.

$65 = 8GB Cost per GB, is you factor X10 like the intel X25-80GB... then intel would $650... but instead its $215, some places maybe as low as $200. And of course the intel drive is one of the fastest on the market.

8GB drives should go for $20 or so... and even then, its close to useless. A 16GB drive can barely work.

When using an SSD for a BOOT OS such as Windows7, it should be at LEAST, 24~32GB to allow for errors.
