[SOLVED] Switch the Gateron mechanical switches to Gateron optical switches ?

Hello People,

I am planning to buy "Keychron K2 (Hot-Swappable) Version 2" keyboard and it has Gateron switches.

So my question is - Later if I buy Gateron optical switches (Or any other optical switches), Can I swap them on this keyboard?

& Which one is more durable and good for gaming?
My last Logitech mechanical got a double click issue in only 2 months.

Might want to read through this and this. If you're really interested in buying a Keychron keyboard but with optical switch support, then look at the K3, K6 or the K8. They are guaranteed to work out of the box with other optical switches but there's the K12. Here's a shortlist off of Keychron's site. You sure you want to stick to Keychron?

Optical switches only work in specific keyboards, you can't install them in a keyboard with regular mechanical switches.
