Switching my Processor

Hi, I recently stated building a PC with a FX-8350 and I have realized that the processor is kinda outdated and i'm going to continue to build it and finish it. Then I will try it out for 3 months to see if I like it if I don't I will upgrade to a ryzan CPU. Can you please recommend a RYZAN CPU that can play these games Fallout 4, Skyrim, Fortnite, Forza 7 and Black Ops 4 for $250 or under.

The problem is, you can't just upgrade the processor from an FX series to a Ryzen series. That entails a new motherboard and new RAM as well.

Return it all and get a ryzen platform, if you can. Even a 2200g would out game an FX.

Given that you have a functional system, I wouldn't recommend anything at that budget point. Keep saving until you have around a $400 budget and then look to the 3rd generation Ryzen CPUs.
