System Advice Needed

Hi all. Im a newbie here and im looking into building a pc so im after advice on what parts are best to get.

Ive decided to get a Athlon XP 3000+ Venice and probably an Abit AN8 ultra motherboard.
What graphics card would you recommend if my main use is video encoding / perhaps use as a media pc in the future? im on a modest budget so under a £100 would be great if at all possible.
Any advice as PSUs and any extra fans i may need in case i want to overclock at some point.
Will 2x512 GEIL RAM do the job/hold up for overclocking.

My experience with Geil is that they're not reall good OCer, unless you buy ram rated at the speed you want to OC(dont expect DDR400 to run much faster!)

If you buy a nice case, you wont need to add any fans...Do you have any in mind?

As for video card, for video encoding you dont need anything fancy! and for a media PC you just need to find one with all the connection you might need.

128mb PCI express video card would be enough then ? Any recommendations?

I am not a big fan of TT altough their product are rather good.

For video card, sicne its a bit specific, I suggest a new thread in the video forums, some regular only stick there and they really know their stuff!

there is a venice core for athlon XPs? i thought venice was only for socket 939 cpus...
