The system date changes randomly, has happened twice in past two weeks, this
time it went a month ahead, last time it went a week ahead.

I reset the date via control panel last time and had no problem until today.

Any ideas why? All virus protection, adware tracking, etc. is up to date.

First thing to do is replace the mother board battery.
