System Error

Question? I have sata hardrive. It has been in my new system for about 2 days. I installed a program on it yesterday afternoon and yesterday evening i noticed that i couldnt get on the internet. I figured that the system needed to be rebooted so that what I did. It wont boot up. it ask for system disk in floppy drive. When I put the disk in it keeps asking me to take out all disks and media and i have done that and it keeps asking and wont go any further. What do I do?

It sounds like your machine is not recognising the XP installation on your hard disk.

What did you do to add the SATA drive ?
Was it simply an additional disk to store data ?
Have you rebooted since the change and was all ok ?
Have a look at your BIOS and check the boot order
Try removing the SATA disk and boot (unplug the cables)
What program did you install ?
Can you get into Safemode or do you not even get the option ?
