My rig:
Monitor - LG MP59G 24" @1080p
MB - P8Z77V LK
CPU - i7 3770k @4.2 GHz OC + Zalman CNPS10X Performa+
GPU - MSI GTX 1080 Hawk
RAM - Kingston HyperX 16 GB DDR3-1600 (2x8)
PSU - Antec EarthWatts EA650G Pro 650W
SSD - OCZ TL-100 240GB 2.5" SATA III TLC
HDD - Western Digital Blue 1TB 7200 rpm 3.5 SATA III

I've been thinking about upgrading my MB/CPU/RAM. So far my desired combo looks like this:

MB: MSI B450 Tomahawk Max
CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 3600
RAM: Corsair 16 GB (2x8GB) DDR4 3200 MHz Vengeance LPX

The overall price is about $400. Is it worth the money to upgrade now? I use my PC exclusively for gaming, would I benefit from the upgrade? Thanks in advance!

For gaming @1080p the benefit seems worth it, but for higher res I would wait for next Ryzen cpus.

See if you can upgrade to higher speed RAMs with similar or lower CAS Latency. Ryzen unitizes higher speeds for better performance.

Another option in a similar price range is 3600 CL19 which I don't think is better.
