compatible, yes. however, the cpu outweighs the other components. drop it to an i3-4160 or something, and bump the gpu to gtx760. the corsair CX 500 is trash, change that out too. antec, xfx, seasonic can't go wrong with those brands. there are particular models of corsair and other brands that are proven reliable, what's your location i could recommend the cheapest

I recommend you use pcpartpicker for that. Is this for gaming? Cause you'd be better off with a more modest cpu and a better gpu.
That corsair psu isn't good. Get something from evga, seasonic or xfx.

CPU is powerful because I need CPU and I will upgrade my GPU to 960 or 970 some time later ( I don't want CPU bottlenecks) and I will use 750 ti as my media center PC's GPU. I chose it because its power consumption is low and it can handle latest games on med-high quality. And... for the PSU best available brands are Cooler Master and Corsair. No XFX or Seasonic.

Seasonic is the best quality psu manufacturer out there. Corsair is good but their cx series is shit. They ahve low quality capacitors and are known to deliver problems after one year or so.

And a haswell i3 wouldn't bottleneck a gtx 970 anyway. What is bottleneck? Sure, a gtx 970 would work better with an i7 4790k but an i3 can still run it to max out any game out there.

Corsair RM HX AX series are available but they offer too much power. Starting from 750W. I don't think I need that much.

no, you don't. i haven't read any reviews on any cooler master psu, so i can't advise there. what do you mean by "best available brands"

Cooler master GM series is good. Cheap cooler master psus are crap, some aren't even bronze rated.
The highest quality psu manufacturer is Seasonic and everyone knows that.

Sure, an i3 won't cause bottlenecks but as I said I need CPU power. My current CPU (2nd gen Intel i5) sometimes works on peek load and it is not enough. And I want it to be future proof as much as possible. To me i5 4590 is the best option.

alay, cpu doesn't really matter in gaming. I have an i5 2300 and an r9 290 and run every single game on ultra 60fps (except acu, bad optimisation).

Keep your second generation i5 and get a good gpu if you want to run games at high settings.

alright now, don't get angry. just want you to have the best experience for the money you spend. i recommend at least gtx 760 or radeon r9 270x. if that is beyond your means, and you are happy with the 750ti, the only incompatibility issue i see is a poor quality psu.
