SystemUnit upgrade tips please

Good day People here at Toms Hardware well i will upgrade my system unit any suggestions and comments for my pc that i will build. I also plan to Overclock my cpu (3.3 to 4.2) and mostly i will use it for gaming.

my current specs:
Intel I5 2500k (stock fan)
Power color hd 7750
foxconn z-68as
500watts aerocool strike x.
4gb ram kingston 1333
WD 500gb.
I almost using this unit for 2 and a half yr.

Specs to upgrade:
Cpu cooler : Cooler Master V8 gts
MSI Z77A-G43 GAMING motherboard
Crucial Ballistix Sport 8GB Single 1600 CL9
2TB Seagte HDD + my current WD 500 GB
For my gpu help me decide whats good well my budget for my gpu is $150-180
MSI GTX 750 Ti Twin Frozr 2gb Or Powercolor R9 270X devil Or Powercolor 7870 or other suggestions.

and can my 500watts aerocool strike X. can handle this build?

Depending on your budget, i would go for a Z97 Mobo. A bit of future proofing and great OC features. and spring for a new CPU.
