hey, i know all u guys are smart (i'm still working on it)
and it's he first time i've done this so be nice :)

put together my own sys, t-bird 800 on A7V, and i want to o/c it. Obviously

I'd like to go up tp 900 - 950 Mhz if possible...

I got up to 888 MHz by raising bus to 111 Mhz (ram at 148)...stable and at 37C idle, but if i go higher i get an error in windows (explorer crap)

Would it be better to increase by multiplier instead?

Suggestions please?

Tnx for yer help

i'd also rather not have to do any soldering on the mobo, cause i'd probably solder myself to it :)
Edited by jojo on 11/26/00 00:37 AM.

close the L1 bridges, set the multiplier to whatever you want, and you have a TB800 at 900+ without messing around with the FSB.

I have my TB800 @945 (9x105) and it runs completely stable. I pushed it to 1 Ghz as well and it worked fine.
