Taking the pc apart, what do I do with the bits

Hello folks

I built my dream pc about a year ago - first ever build!

I'm now moving to take a job somewhere else in the UK and I am taking it with me. The plan is to take it apart and carry the easily broken bits onto the airplane in my bag. However i'm not sure what to do with them?

Should I get something like this to put the hdd, graphics card etc into?

Well I was told to take all the expensive bits out before shipping it if I ever wanted it to work again

You think it would be safe to ship it intact?

Then if it actually any safer to send it via courier than it would be to just use the same packaging and put it in the hold my plane?
