quick rename the vietamese, japananese and koreans in all the other titles. Way over 100k american lives lost against these groups. Where is the out cry. If you don't immediately patch all your games it would be completly insensitive. EA have a pair please. This country is turning into some bitchy house wife from Jersey Shore because companies and poltician keep caving in to the minority of society that bitches all day.

The Medal of Honor is the highest military decoration awarded by the United States government. It is bestowed on members of the United States armed forces who distinguish themselves "conspicuously by gallantry and intrepidity at the risk of his or her life above and beyond the call of duty while engaged in an action against an enemy of the United States."[1] Due to the nature of its criteria, it is often[quantify] awarded posthumously.

that is a tough name to live up to, all previous MOH games feature scenarios that involved reciepients of this medal. this current game is based on an action that is not over and can therefore play a major part in publicity (cite the vietnam conflict) and morale for both sides involved, maybe it would show more relevance to those of you if the anti american terrorist and their supporters were put on camera jumping up and down for joy at being placed as a major opposition force against american forces to the likes of the japanese and nazi forces (not that i think any arab is worth the spit) in a video game. go goggle all the palestinians jumping up and down for joy upon hearing/watching the 9/11 attacks, then tell me you don't feel something or think something in regards to that. you either get really pissed off, you don't care, or you take great pride in what a few dozen arabs were able to accomplish in a single attack. i know WW2 veterans who think nothing but dark thoughts when you bring up what a success the japanese accomplished on december 7th 1941.

this war EA based the newest MOH on is not over, my only hope is they based it on the same frustrating rules of engagement and action that congressional handicapped soldiers are having to deal with in opposing ruthless calculated actions of the terrorist and subjigation fighters in afganistan/pakistan, i'm going to laugh if all the non american forces get to cross a demarcation line with pakistan and afganistan and the americans can't shoot. if that happens i wouldn't hesitate to put every gamer in the same room as a congressional hearing where politicians can see the outcome of their crippling decisions to 'play nice' with the enemy. think of the morale of american soldiers after they hear about if all of you lose in that kind of scenario.

All the Marines I talked to about this, laughed at how stupid it is. I too am a Marine and think it's stupid. The only people "offended" are people who would have never played the game in the first place. All the people that I work with or know who would actually play the game could careless if the opposing force is named Taliban.

So a name change is supposed to make it easier/better for killing Americans in a video game? How stupid do you have to be?
 
Is this another Lone Ranger case where the enemies are often Indians, but they are all played by white guys? Renaming the Sugar Plum Faries or whatever they are choosing to rename the Taliban is pointless unless you change what they where, their location, their language (assuming they have used Arabic), the clothing, and what they are fighting for.

Dressing up a pile of horse crap in a pretty pink dress does not make a it a princess. It's still shit, and everyone else can see it for what it is and name it for what it is. What makes MoH a bit edgy is that they are fighting other nationalities. The direction they are going in, they may as well change their name to Crysis 1.5 and toss in some aliens so that nobody gets offended.

I'm saying just be sensitive to both sides.. in reality... we all are enemies/allies to any side that fights.. there is usually no right/wrong in war.. just greedy politics that mask the real issue for there own need.

Wow, you're pretty ignorant and self-centered. You do know you have allies, fighting the fight for you, right? The Netherlands, Norway, Denmark, UK, Singapore and Italy just to name a few. These countries are participating in YOUR war and losing soldiers to YOUR. Don't come here, pretending to be anything above anyone else, because your most definetly not.

Do you actually know any soldiers? I've been in Iraq, and I've seen american (and unfortunately other nationalities too) soldiers kill innocent people for the heck of it. Both men and women.

played it maxed out at 1680x1050 with no problems at all, completely smooth, and for a beta the game is very stable it is just badly flawed in the map designs and spawn points, (they allow for spawn camping at great distances )

I hate it when the maps are so small. Other than that, it is a good game.

the graphics are pretty good, but some maps have annoying graphical elements such as random moments of extremely thick fog which bring the battle to a near standstill. There is also a problem with a cluttered design where to enemy has a very unfair advantage in which they can easily see you but you can't see them. This creates a situation where depending on the map, the defending team will almost always win.

Do you know how many times innocent people get killed by American soldiers attacking or in a missile barrage in Iraq or Afghanistan? human shield? I think you watch too many movies.

In those countries, the enemies don't use human shields but they tend to dress as civilians so if there many people out there and bullets start flying at the soldiers, it is very easy to hit a innocent person because the enemy is dressed the same way.

Imagine if another country was to invade America and the soldiers dressed like civilians, if stuff hits the fan, will the enemy be able to quickly tell the difference between a soldier and a civilian, or will they just start shooting everyone?

Those who like to think of them self as freedom fighters in those countries are just crazy people who just like death and fighting and killing regardless of who it is.

Does this seem like the thinking of a normal human thats not crazy or profoundly retarded?:

their solution to this problem is to suicide bomb a market place filled with only their own people and not Americans.


Imagine if we had people like that running America during world war 2. The nazi's would attack and our retaliation would be the president sending the soldiers to kill American citizens instead of the enemy.

yeah that would be funny. but than you would have the nutcases all over you claiming they are offended and that US troops or NATO troops are mostly Christians and therefor cannot be called infidels, so the infidels are the Talibans and AlQuaeda.

I don't disagree with you but civilians don't carry guns,anyway in the chaos it will be difficult to identify the enemy fast enough.

Freedom fighters don't give a dime about human life's the only thing that matters to them is to drop the invading soldiers out of their country no matter the cost.
 
Zbob don't try that card, as I am in Afghan right now. Most people I know are didn't care about the name. It's a freaking game.

Always amazes how must of the people who whine about things like this have absolutly nothing in it. O wait I'm sure they have a cousin who knew a friend of a friend that knew somebody that died.
