lens? is the quality the same?

Has Tamron begun to ship it???

I've seen it as a preorder item in US websites (no ETA given), but
still no news in Europe...

Considering you cannot actually take a picture with either the Tamron 11-18
or the announced Sigma 10-20, I'd say Canon has them beat completely.
