Tektronix solid ink generic?

Hi folks,
Interested to hear from ANYONE who has tried any generic brand of solid ink
in their Tektronix printer & if they had any probs at all?
Any problems experienced?
Would you recommend doing it?
Is the color tone equal?
What method is recommended to change over? Or just mix them?
Any views really appreciated here folks..........

My advice is to stay away from them due to the numerous print heads ruined
by generic solid ink..

i still have some Tektronix original supplies for phaser 140/340/350/360
do you have one of these printers ?

Hi we repair and sell teks and more printheads breakdown using tektronix
genuine inksticks than good third party inksticks and the two we recomend
guarantee to repair or replace your printer if you have a problem tektronix
dont offer this guarantee.

Thanks for your reply.
I'm guessing that you are in USA & that the generic brands are manufactured
in the USA as well?
I doubt if the garantee will cover us here in Australia & if it did I guess
we'd have to ship it back there?
It still is interesting to note they do cover damage though. Would imply
that they are resonably sure that it is safe to use.
