Question Temperature Offset with Ryzen 3600X

Is the temperature offset still with 3600x?
With HWinfo it shows me different temperatures. (Tctl and Tdie)
Ryzen Master shows around 50°C in idle, which is basically the Tdie in HWinfo.

Other Tools and also the BIOS (where i have the fan controlled) show and react to the highest temperature which is around 55-75° in idle which seems very high to me and is annoying because i already set the fan curve to high rpm at 65°C

Is my CPU broken? I use the Stock cooler and also reapplied the thermal paste twice just to make sure it's not the problem.
What else can i do to keep the idle temperatures lower?

  • Case: Sharkoon TG4
  • CPU: Ryzen 5 3600X (nothing oc'd, PBO off)
  • CPU cooler: Stock Wraith
  • MSI B450 A Pro Max
  • Memory: G.SKILL Ripjaws V DDR4 3200 2x16GB
  • Boot drive: Samsung 960 Evo NVMe PCIe M.2 250GB
  • Power Supply: Corsair VS450
  • Videocard: NVidia GTX 1060 Gainward Phoenix GS 6GB

I had around 40 to around 50 c when i used the stock cooler with my r5 2600 idle, it is very high but its not harmful for the component, but stressful numbers indeed.

If it bothers you i suggest buying a new cooler.

I would be happy if my temps were around 40-50 and not 50-70 in idle. I already ordered a new cooler, but i don't think he will bring the temps around 20° down.

Have you fixed your temps? I got same temps and was wondering if any fix worked for you
