Text is blurry/fuzzy on screen

I've used VGA or DVI to VGA connections on my old GPUs since HDMI always had blurry/fuzzy text for me. But I just bought an RX 480 and I have to use HDMI. The text is blurry and most text is completely illegible in WoW.

I tried messing with Cleartype, the options I are given look great, but after selecting them nothing changes. The only change comes from disabling it, which makes the text look better, but still bad compared to VGA.

I tried uninstalling/not-installing the audio drivers, as I read some TVs treat audio input from HDMI differently.

I tried toying with gamma, tint, color, contrast, brightness, and sharpness.

I can't find a PC setting for input on my TV. Before I installed my GPU drivers my monitor said it was 1920x1080 and aspect was Dot-by-Dot same as VGA. After installing drivers it says 1080p and Full aspect.

Windows 7 64-bit
ASRock N68-VS3 FX
FX-6100 3.5 Ghz
8GB Ram
XFX RX 480 8GB
Corsair CX750M
Sceptre E245BD-FHDU

Update
Still not sure what causes the issue. I tried everything and sometimes my screen will go to the lower quality 1080p instead of 1920x1080. Using CRU and resetting makes it go to 1920x1080. Quite annoying but manageable. Only goes to 1080p after tuning off/on or rarely when using exclusive fullscreen games.

I just reinstalled drivers again. I tried uninstalling the HD audio but they came back after scanning for changes. So I'm going to try disabling before restart to see if my monitor stays 1920x1080 dot-by-dot.

Update: After restarting the audio drivers came back, and my monitor went back to 1080p Full 100% instead of 1920x1080 60hz Dot-by-Dot.

Update: My fix doesn't last. Turning off the TV and sometimes launching fullscreen games reverts the image back to 1080p which looks terrible. Using CRU I can restart some stuff and it fixes it, but I guess it's just my TV, will be looking at good monitor in future.
