tinyvoices - Because you race cars, You should have a custom gaming PC in the shape of a car :3 Can we get some pictures of the cars you race? 😛 Hehe Jk, but really, that must be really fun!
I currently have a 2004 G35 6-speed coupe as my daily driver. Here it is the day I bought it:
Don't have any current pictures of it yet because the weather is awful but it currently has:
-intake
-full exhaust w/ headers
-b&m short shifter
-6 puck unsprung Exedy clutch
-plenum spacer
-full Tein street basic coilovers
-4 piston Brembo's front and 2 piston Brembo's rear (actually came as an OEM option on the car and saved ALOT of money on expensive brake upgrades)
-solid steel brake lines (Also an OEM option)
-Aftermarket cross drilled rotors and full metallic Race pads (make ALOT of noise and dust but stop way better than everything else)
-full Hotchkis front and rear sway bars and end links
-Kinetix intake manifold
-AAM Competition UpRev tune
Car makes about 300 RWHP. It's fun to drive. I have only had it at the track once because I bought it this past summer after selling my WRX which saw alot of track days and *ahem* alot of street use.
I also drove a dedicated drift car 240sx with an sr20det swap (mod list WAY too long but it basically made 450RWHP and weighs nothing) in many local drift events and some regional events at Summit Point Raceway in West Virginia for a small grass roots local import speed shop.
I am currently thinking about building a foxbody mustang with a 331 and a 8k redline with a t5 trans for the *ahem* street, but I would need to have it done by may and I don't have alot of time to work on it due to college. The other option is to go single turbo on the G35 and get it caged for *ahem* the street but I know that that isn't a great option because no matter what I will never get that thing to hook out of the hole on boost and most all other serious cars would 60foot on me every time. On r-compounds, the WRX would hook at anything under 5k and launch because it was AWD. Never had it at the strip but I figure it would have gone mid 11s with a proper drag suspension setup and not the circuit setup I had on it for track days. I guess I'm trying to move to a dedicated *ahem* street car but I don't want to hack up my daily driver and relatively nice G35 and spend a ton of money on it just to have it not hook no matter what. It would be fun on the highway but that's not what I want it for.
