D34th - Lol no Im going with him, and he still has to pay the $600 for the shipping of the crate. Oh and brown is on their site --- Oh wait, IT WAS. I dont know what they did with it...probably no one bought it....its ugly. Anyway, yeah, no , hes not surprising me....those days are over :p

PCBuilder - Exactly

StickG1 - THAT'D BE AMAZING! But I have tomorrow, day after, and day after that for finals...and then 3 weeks off to spend time with my PC, The tesla that isnt mine, and a bunch of other stuff.

On a random note. I hear a really huge airplane flying over my house right now...sounds pretty :) That sound helps me sleep lol

How old are you again, if you don't mind me asking? I assume there is a real possibility that you will learn to drive in the Tesla? If so, that's awesome. Not many people can say that. I had to learn in a 5-speed manual 1999 Toyota Camry. Learning in a Tesla is definitely a really cool story!

Though this may sound immature, and mind boggling. Im 15 and a half. Why mention the half? Cause thats when I can get a permit. My dad said over winter break (which starts in 3 days and lasts 3 weeks), I can start working on my permit....and sure driving in the Tesla would be awesome but not anytime soon! To be honest, I would rather work on my Private Pilots License over the break but I feel like no one really cares and Im getting no support so Im kinda sad about that :(

But im sure after I get my permit for driving and get license, I WILL get to drive it cause my brother is going to get to. But as i said, not anytime soon for me....maybe slowly around the neighborhood but that things a boat!

How old did you think I was? Sorry to disappoint lol

hmmm, the m6 got passed down recently. Might be coming to me when I turn 16. Or I could get a Honda and turn it into a ricer... NOT. I remember the History test when one of the answer was a Ricer Car. so damn funny. I don't want to think what car I'll get, but most likely I'll get the TL or something under 10k. Speaking of the TL, does the incline on the driveway change the sounds made in reverse? My mom got the whole car serviced, the noise was gone for a day, and the noise came back.

Not at all. I figured you were like 15ish.

At 15.5 it sure it time to learn to drive if you haven't already.

By 15.5 I was 100% confident behind the wheel and already had like 30+ hours driving time with my dad, under my belt. Having raced cars, he is a SUPER stickler for being confident behind the wheel before actually being allowed to drive in traffic more than just the neighborhood. He knows as well as I now know how bad the USA driving instruction program sucks, so he was not going to let me fall victim to it. Pretty much any idiot that can pass a simple vision test can get a license here. It's sad. I wish we were more like Europe.

When we went to get my permit, I drove the whole way home (over 1 hour) and it felt awesome! Completely confident, not timid at all. Just how you should be. They do not stress how important that is. To be fair, I had also competed in my first autocross event before about a month before I got my permit and that taught me a TON about car control, something the programs in the USA do not talk about at all.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=m8-YDKGLKnM sound like this? If yes, that is 100% normal for any car with a straight cut reverse gear (honda/acura/some others)

It is overpriced for what you get. A good engine+RWD and that is it. I have a friend here with a black one and the fit/finish is awful and the interior is VERY cheap feeling.

Make sure to get the manual because the auto is crap and costs you like 30hp due to power-train loss.

An SS Camaro is a WAY better car in every single way. I still am not fond of it personally, but it is a WAY better car to drive and be in than the GT and it is a much better investment. To be fair, the Camaro was designed by Holden +GM AUS in Australia, so GM of USA didn't get the chance to ruin the interior. It really shows if you sit in an SS vs the GT.

There is a BIG list of new cars I would buy for $35k before I bought a Mustang GT..

Mustang GT? Meh, this dude that worked for me for a couple days (yeah, he only lasted a couple days) drives a 2014 Mustang Club of America edition. I actually thought it was kind of cool until I learned that his best friend and roommate had the same Mustang in a different color. That would be a huge no-no for me and my friends. Anyway, how bout that Ford F-150 SVT Raptor? Now that's a vehicle!

Well Im talking the NEW 2015 one but yeah whatever. Good morning by the way. And stick, No one in my family are truck people...My mom and sister dont care about cars, my brothers and my dad do like sedans and coups but the girls like SUVS.

Gotta get ready for school.

I learned to drive in a Plymouth Volare iirc, then occasionally had the use of my Mom's '75 Chevy Malibu. My first car was a 1984 Ford Escort. It was nice, with a great heater, but had no power. I then went the other way, trading it [too soon] on a '85-1/2 Mustang LX with the 5.0L engine in it. The interior on it was fine, very comfortable.

I would DEFINITELY have an Evo over a GT any day. 2015 looks like the last year for them as Mitsubishi is crapping out in the US. I have already owned a big turbo WRX, so I have done the AWD rally car thing and it is AWESOME. I REALLY miss that car.

Splendid

Unfortunately true.

The Subaru's are nice but a dime a dozen here in Mass..

Ever since watching Tanner Foust drive the Evo on Top Gear I've wanted one.

I love that video and Tanner is a VERY good driver. And properly good, not "Ken Block drift a 4wd welded differential car in a circle" good.

My WRX was awesome. I actually like how it blended with every other white 4rd sedan on the road. It made having 480whp all the more fun.

I'll keep my AWD Santa Fe. A couple weeks ago I got to do some GRAPES-Y stuff in a location probably not accessible to a little hot rod with no ground clearance and one drive wheel; I had no problem getting there.
