I'm planning to go to Vegas in July. I do love me some Vegas.

Onus.....What? xD I mean.....I guess? lmao

D34th - Nah just to hang....when does CES end cause Ill be there till the 10th and can I just walk it and pay cause maybe I can go!

Gunit - Haha yeah i hope it will be fun.

Doesn't matter how old you are, if you go to Vegas and you're not having fun you're doing it wrong.

Haha well I have to stick with my family there....so...I dont know how fun it will be lmao. Nah im sure it will be good lol. (We obviously dont gamble and do stuff like that so they wont be doing that lol)

There's plenty of other stuff to do - shows, concerts, boxing and MMA, tons of shopping, you name it. I've been to quite a few concerts there, but don't go see Tenacious D there.

So I'm going to be in the process of modding my Dark Knight rig this year, that's about my only real computer splurge that I'm going to do this year (then next year I will be upgrading to the newest Intel platform), apart from SLI'ing the graphics card and getting a 1440P monitor. My plan right now is to get a Phanteks Enthoo Luxe and custom paint it black / green, and get fans that are custom painted black / green for both the Cryorig and the case fans, and have it match my GPU.

It's been a while since I posted pics of my rig. The latest upgrades since last time are a new motherboard, a tri-antenna wireless adapter, functioning front panel USB 3.0 headers, a power button lit LED, better cable management, and a 250GB Samsung 850 EVO. Oh, and an IO shield. I like having one, though I'll always remember it as the biggest pain in my life.

If installing a I/O shield is the biggest pain you encounter in your life, then it has either been a very short one so far, or you'll end up being the most fortunate person I've ever heard of. Probably, it's the first one.

I hate stock intel coolers, that's my hard part...

I think you take what I say too literally. I exaggerated.

picked up an open box yamaha rx-v379 audio receiver(hdmi 2.0 hdcp 2.2) today at BB for $179. gonna swap out my old receiver and hook up my rig and see if my lg 65uf6450 can do 4.4.4 chroma 4k@60hz. if it doesn't no big deal but there are reports some do and some dont. but at least i can watch 4k@60hz videos online and maybe try a few games at 2160p. otherwise i will just mirror what i have going to my 27" 1440p monitor. im sure 1440p in game rendering on a 4k monitor will still look fine though.

There's nothing else that can be done for cleaner cables. I mean, it's just a fact of life that the cables have to reach their destinations, and with the two SSDs down low, there're a lot of cables - 2 SATA, 2 SATA power, USB and Audio cables.

I may be able to route some of those cables around back and up from beneath by the SSDs, but I think the PS may be in the way.

Went to Best Buy today and came across an Insignia PC Tool Kit. For $25, it's great. Comes with pliers, tweezers, a screw drivers with 10 different bits, an anti-static wrist strap, lots of screws and rubber washers, a 9-key hex set on a chain, an LED flashlight with a precision screw driver.

Now I don't need to go digging in the garage for the right type of tool (which usually does not exist, causing me to use pliers for stuff I don't want to use pliers for).
