Yeah but a 980Ti will definitely last longerm especially with 6GB VRAM. And better frame rates and textures.

A 970 is not enough for 1440p. The 980 Ti owns it though :)

Well it does realistically depend on the games you are playing. My old 780 did pretty well at 1440p. Better than I thought it would. But if you want to max everything especially the newest, most demanding stuff the 980 Ti is your card. No single card can handle 4k yet.

Thankfully, I know how windows 10 works from school and from the 30 seconds of my virtual machine before I got a BSOD from memory errors.... I might pop in and help out a little if I can after Volunteer work.

ive been gaming on 1440p with a gtx780 without any issues for a while now. only recently with games like witcher 3 do i really need to start scaling settings back into the high/medium realm, but i generally always leave AA off since i cant tell the difference.

Hey! Sorry Ive been dark for a few days....We drove up to Northern California and spent a few days there...Went to Francisco and did the tour, ate at the fisherman's wharf, got some garadelli chocolate and did some more stuff....thought Id take a break from the Computer.

We went to a supercharging station that had like 10 teslas lol....we enjoyed the experience with the chargers....they are VERY fast xD We were up in silicon valley and mountain view. Pretty nice. Saw the golden gate bridge and Pier 39...bay bridge, Alcatraz...We went on the golden gate bridge on a tour bus and we were on the top..COLD AND WINDY. Haha.

How have you guys been?

Yeah I'd love to be able to afford a 980TI but can't at the moment. The 970 will have to suffice for a while, but I think SLI 970 should be fine if I decide to upgrade to 1440P.

How have you guys been?

We mods have been busy prepping for the Windows 10 launch which is most likely going to break the forums tomorrow.

Well at least this has been fixed :)

Edge would not let me in, but once reported to distil it did not take long to work.

^^
I haven't used Edge/Spartan in ages.... I wonder if it will be better than Chrome... I will help with Windows 10 if I can... I haven't used it in a month or so because I don't have enough RAM.... I don't have enough HDD space for a dual boot either(now I do, but I see little point, especially if I screw the MBR somehow).

Well, the two new Moto X's and the Moto G have been announced/ released... and the Note 5 is coming out soon with Samsung's unpacked event...

Yep I saw the sale it after you posted it death. I didn't see any tablets that were what he's looking for though.

G-unit, the Nexus 9 looks great. Any idea how frequently they go back in stock for that price?

I do one huge binder. I might switch to a fewer smaller ones though.

I hate carrying big binders. I would carry loose-leaf paper in a folder. That's it. Take notes on sheets of paper and put handouts in the folder. Then when you get home everyday, take the notes and papers and put them in a big binder that you keep at home. Everything stays organized and you don't look like an idiot carrying around 5 binders and 4 notebooks.

The only thing I carried to highschool and college everyday was like 30 sheets of paper. No need to lug around crap for no reason. I only carried a drawstring backpack too. No need for a huge backpack if there is nothing in it but some papers.

Yeah it's a really sweet tablet. My only concern is the limited storage space. I'm not sure how often they go on sale, though, I just saw the e-mail from HTC in my inbox and thought I would check it out.

That's college. Plus things have changed, with the new AP classes...

I took all 4 years of Spanish, yes. I took AP US history as well. It was easy.

For my setup you only need like a few things.
-large binder. 3". This gets left at home.
-dividers for the binder you leave at home
-folder
-lined paper to carry in the folder
-pen
-calculator for math

That is all I used.

Wow you are very smart....seriously...Good Job. What UNI did you attend if you dont mind me asking?

Do you need to be a great writer for US history or is it just more work? Also, what about the binder to take to school? I write a lot of notes.

West Virginia University. Mostly because I didn't know what I really wanted to do (they have basically a program in everything) and they gave me the most scholarships out of everywhere I got in.

You don;t take a binder to school. You write notes on the loose leaf paper and put it in the folder. Then when you get home you put all the notes in the binder in the appropriate sections for each class.

And no, I;m not super smart. High school is just easy. All you have to do is try. It has nothing to do with being smart.
