The problems people have with A7V

I wonder if the problems people usually have with the Asus A7V board are just caused by IRQ conflicts, or are there other factors playing here too?

I've got no irq conflicts on my a7v but it's been hell since day one. The a7v problems do not have the same symptoms as irq conflicts. It's more like agp or memory related. But I'm thinking it's the Promise controller. I just wish I took it back during the warranty period. I've spent more time on this board than I have on any other over the past 8 years.

I have never had good luck with Asus and this time it's no different. I don't if it's because they're dumping crap into Canada or what.

I also own an Abit KT7-Raid and it's working flawlessly. I will be ripping out my a7v and using it for target practice. I will probably be getting a K7T Pro2 from MSI today.
