I was just about to post a question about which DVD burners to look into buying, so I'm glad you posted this. It'd be interesting to hear some feedback from other members about personal experience with any/all of these drives.

The info posted by desktop-video-guide has been there for quite a while, so it didn't include the latest burners in the list. Thanks for the info anyway Chris.

If you're looking for the best DVD burner at the moment, I would say Sony DRU-500A coz it supports both DVD-RW and DVD+RW formats and has also received many positive reviews since its release last year.
