Question The whole system stutters every 2-3 mins for 1-2 seconds.

Every 2-3 mins windows will stutter for 1-2 seconds. During the stutter, the sound will break up. Mouse won't move for fraction of a second, the image on the screen is frozen. I am usually gaming and it does sometimes happens during system intense parts but often needs no trigger. As far as I can tell memory, graphics, SSD, all seem fine based on basic performance tracker. I have tried a dozen fixes like using different DirectX versions. But no luck. The issue is persistent and continues at the same rate despite reboots or any steps I have done so far.

I didn't find Win 10 to be usable till I did a local install. The first few installations were driving me mad. I was all ready to switch back to Win 8.1.

I'm doing OK with the local install though I often wonder whether residual problems are due to the OS.

There were many reports in late spring of Win 10 stability issues with a wide variety of anti-virus programs. The wise heads here say that those problems have been fixed. I'm more skeptical. I still haven't reinstalled an aftermarket anti-virus (Just using Windows defender).

My mouse lag disappeared when I switched from DVI-D to Displayport. (My mouse connects to system through the monitor's USB)

So those are things to consider for what can be a difficult problem.....
