This is a bogus comparison. Direct-die water cooling has always yielded like low double-digit improvements on just about any CPU. People are even direct-die cooling Raptor Lake!
If you could provide comparison data, that would be nice. Going by memory, I haven't seen anything as drastic to what der8auer found with Zen4. Specially at the power level in which Zen4 moves, which is not that high either.

I'm not saying it's not a more drastic improvement than with other CPUs, but just listing delidded vs. stock gives a misleading impression to people not familiar with how much improvement you typically get from delidding.

Sorry, I can't prepare a survey of delidded die temps. I'm just citing what I've seen on the subject, over like the past decade. People can do their own research into this, if they're interested.
 
Well, that's interesting because I found this:

Yeah that's all XOC stuff where the coolers themselves have been flattened. If you put a flattened cooler on a CPU that hasn't been (especially LGA 1700 without contact frame) you end up with temperature problems.
