Figures... Right when competition was getting good in the graphics market and everyone had choices- Nvidia had to go buy 3dfx. Now the only REAL performers are Nvidia and ATi. The rest are sub-standard. I think good will only come out of this for about a year or so- then it'll crap out.

I don't know about that.. nvidia might cook up something good with 3dfx's ip. <shrugs> To quote Yoda, "Always in motion is the future..." Personally, I'm gonna take a wait and see attitude for how this will turn out. Just remember that not too long ago, nvidia hardly even existed, much less dominated. New players come along in technology all the time.
