What are your thoughts about pairing this cooler(Thermalright peerless assassin 120) with the i7 13700k my only demands are gaming I don't do much of heavy load other than gaming

Solution
look at a review or 2 of the cpu and see what they measured under gaming load for the cpu. might not even be a concern. i don't know myself as never built with that cpu.

you need to understand not only what the cooler is capable of, but also what the cpu is capable of asking for in various situations. together you can make an informed decision. i'm pretty sure it stays lower than that, but i would not bet my life on it without checking a couple reviews.

keep it under 225w and no problem at all. it'll handle that no problem.

no idea what the cpu uses at gaming load, you'll have to look up a review or 2 for that info. but should stay under that threshold if i recall right.
I know fairly little about cpus, so would you mind explaining how I would be able to keep it under 225w ? is it under225w from the factory or will I need to do something about it? or did you mean to just not over clock it above 225w
