You can see exactly where we're going right now. We're ranked 99 and with a little help should be able to go up a spot 30 days or so. It looks like we're going to be passed in 9 days by one team but should pass 2 teams in 30 something days for a net jump of another spot.

extremeOC site is 3 hours behind, and yes your people that fold do it VERY VERY well its just too bad you only have 5-10 people trying.

OK so heres my take on things.
I hate the new look of Toms, its all marketing (like we didnt have enough) I Hate the new Guru sites (its all BS) but becuase I feel sorry for you when my WU ends at 2AM EST I will rejoin your team. However you still have a degenerate team that needs lots of work.

Thomas Pabst is the brainchild and originator of Toms Hardware and Forum since its inception in 1997. A doctor who preferred to give up his stethoscope for geek technologies advancement.
You been reading Toms since 98 and do not know who Tom is?

If you really do not know who Tom is, you should have a chat with Wingy to stimulate the desire to comprehend more of what you read. He is a master of cognitive language retention, among other things.

Yep been here since 98 and never seen a name even close to Tom. But thanks for the the info. He should get out way more!!!

EDIT: Maybe I'm just a moron or never noticed but all I see is crap maybe once a week (sometimes) they review something good.
But Hey I'm the one who called Anands Chat with Intel and ASUS a joke so.. draw you own conclusions.

EDIT AGAIN: I'd love to have a few minutes with this Tom fellow, not to bitch but to really talk, then again wouldn't wa all.

Uh, he did where were you?
Back for the first few years until sometime in early 2001 or 2002 he was the lead author for most of the articles, and often gave commentaries about trade tech shows and the direction of hardware and his website. Until some crazies started bombarding him labeling him falsely as a Nazi, he then felt it would be best to fade into the background and turn it over to others partially for his safety and his staffs. I respect his decision, but hate it had to happen.

Well there's more than that but I agree not nearly enough. Still pretty impressive for so few people.

With the new forum there seems to be more traffic here though so the numbers will increase.

However you still have a degenerate team that needs lots of work.

Well that's just great. You'll fit right in.

I respect that your down but still kicking (as I said I'm on your team as of 2 AM EST).

And there was no point in reading reviews when AMD hit 1Ghz we all knew they were boss when Intel did the MTH recall and the 1.13ghz recall.

I guess folding for Toms might be better than folding for AMD since most of their members fold on old Intel chips. ( Kinda Hypocrytical saying AMD is the best but they won't fold on their own comps.)

"Sad team"? I dony know, we are in the top 100, and that in about a year.
Top 50 team members? I dont think we've ever had that many active members, but our current top 20 performers have put in almost 4.3 milion points, out of our total of 4.56 milion. Some of us have more systems, and get more points, but we are a stable few. We thank you, and everyone else who helps, but if you aren't in for the long haul, you really aren't a team member.
If you are wondering who endyen is, it's me

Of course it would be nice to have a more active team regarding new members and posts in here. Maybe making this thread a sticky will help. It certainly helps me finding it! =)
Anyway this post is about milesones:
sjonnie has hit 900K! That's 20% of our grand total! Congrats!!
apesoccer has hit no. 1 in daily average production. not like me, saving results and then sending them all at once to cheat with the daily average, but the hard way (at least it appears like it...) by simply producing more!
And I would like to say hello to Porkrind12, who has joined us in november and has hit a steady average without making so much fuss and will soon celebrate his first 5K if he keeps going at that rate!
And of course, I also drink to the rest of you who I have not mentioned (oh god, how I miss those updates, Flinx gave us....), cheers!

My computer crashed a few times and I lost 3 workunits that I'm aware of. It seems that FAH doesn't remember the work it's done and can't pick up where it left off so it has to start over. I'm pretty sure one of those was a 600 pointer that I was almost done with too so what a waste of time!

folding folding folding...
my dualcore rid a folding...
crunching those big numbers...
Rawhide!

54k points now... and got 2 massive jobs getting close to finished
both are 12,500,000 timesteps!
definately not your paltry 250,000 timesteppers.
