Hi everyone. I've got an Asus P5N-D and a Q6600 with an Asus 9800GTX+ at the moment. I have a bit of money, but not quite enough to buy a complete new rig.

So I am thinking of upping my CPU to a Q9650 or Q9550. As for graphics cards, I'm wondering if anyone can tell me if theres enough room to SLI two 9800GTX+s on the P5N-D.

Now i have looked myself, and it doesn't look to be much room at all, I'm just curious if anyone else has tried to SLI two 9800GTX+s on this board.

Or should i just look to replace the card with something from the nVidia 200 series?

Thanks.

Your 900GTX+ is that a single slot card if so you will have no problems with fitting them. Just make sure you have plenty of cooling because two 9800GTX+ are gonna generate a ton of heat. As far as going to a GT200 series your card is the same as a GTS 250

That is the exact card. I'm worried that the fan/radiator would be too close to the other card.

Its a dual slot looking at it, i can see it would fit, but would be extremely close. I am mainly concerned about the heat, idling right now its 44'c.

But i will be getting an Antec 900-2 soon to put it as this caviliar 3 is a little cramped with only one exaust fan and no intake fans.
