Looks OK to me. I;m not much of a fan of MSI motherboards though. Their LAN generally isn't great and I've had quite a lot of boards with faults and even a spate of DOA boards too. I try to stick to Asus and Gigabyte but I've been pretty happy with Asrock as a budget solution too.

I like asus also but im trying to go with a black and red theme and asus boards really dont follow...and i asked around and everyone said Asus > MSI/Gigabite > Asrock

I personally do like MSI boards. I have always had great luck with them.

If this is for gaming, get an i5 4690k and a z97 board.

That's right, it's not a good time to be investing in X79 right now as the next generation (X99) is literally just around the corner. Like the earlier poster said, if this is just a gaming PC you might be better off with Z97 and Devils Canyon. Seems a bit of a waste to have an X79 board and only run one GPU on it anyway...

this is a streaming build and im upgrading from an i5 4670k and i looked at haswell - e but the ddr4 is so much more and to me i dont see it being worth it from x79 to x99 i dont think i will see a difference...what do you think

This is EXACTLY the same as your other thread so I am closing this one.

Answer is just get the 4790k if you have the money. Will it stream better or worse than a 2011 i7 or an i5, no.
