It sounds cheap because it IS cheap. A small SSD and an inadequate amount of relatively slow RAM in a machine with a 4090 says to me Dell has cobbled together the basics for a system in order to charge a premium for a 4090, and you'll need to spend at least $200 more for a proper 1TB SSD and at least 16GB more RAM.

This isn't a deal, this is the kind of thing tech sites should be warning against people buying.

with a proprietary motherboard and power supply....parting it out doesn't justify the price premium. Don't waste your money on this
