So I decided to use some student finance to create a custom pc for uni/gaming and a few other things for under £1500 (it cost just under £1400 when I bought it all and built it)as an upgrade from my old AMD 1100T Black Edition with 8GB of unsynched RAM (due to having to buy what I could afford when I could in prior courses) and this is what I built. I wanted something to be mid/high so after doing some looking around and wanting multitasking I went for another AMD rig. I ordered it a few weeks ago and wanted to see if there was anything I could have done better for this.

The specs are:
  • AMD RYZEN 7 1800x 3.6 Octo core CPU
  • CoolerMaster ML120L liquid cooler
  • Gigabyte X470 AORUS Ultra Gaming mobo
  • Corsair Vengeance LPX 32GB (4x8GB) DDR4 at 2666MHz RAM
  • Samsung Evo 1TB 2.5" SSD for Windows
  • 1TB Western Blue HDD for games/other course related software
  • Asus GeForce GTX 1660 Ti 6GB Pheonix GPU
  • Thermaltake Core V71 TG ATX Full Tower Case
  • SeaSonic FOCUS SGX 480W 80+ Gold full modular PSU
  • And Win10 pro

I debated it at the time but didn't have the money for it so I settled for the highest speed I could afford at the time, but I'll definitely look into it when I'm paid next
