Question Tips for Adjusting My Fan Curves? (Air Cooler)

I have a 9700x CPU and a 9070XT GPU. I recently built my first ever custom pc and one thing I still do not really understand is adjusting the fan curves. I don't have any concern with noise. My system is pretty quiet and I have noise-cancelling headphones on top of that so it's not a worry at all for me. However, I still want to make sure I am not causing a dangerous situation for my PC parts. Currently on the base unadjusted fan curves, my CPU is running at around 40C while watching videos, downloading games, etc., and about 50-60C playing games like Monster Hunter Wilds. My GPU tends to be lower by 5 to 10C in both of these scenarios. When nothing is happening at all I tend to get my CPU to about 30C and my GPU to about 25C. I have no idea if this is good or if I should make adjustments. If I need to make adjustments, any specific tips or suggestions for what to do? Any recommendations for videos explaining how I should be adjusting my fans would also be welcome. Thank you!

The temps you state seem quite normal. Personally, I prefer to run my pc as quiet as possible for the given workload with out headphones.
Depending on the make of your motherboards, fan curves can be custom set on the bios. I have an MSI mobo and 6 fans all custom curved to ramp up as the CPU temp raises. Some of my fans can be at zero RPM and only spin up to, say, 30% when the temp hits a certain point, then 60% at another set temp.
I have installed and using MSI Center/Cooling Wizard in Windows to play with custom fan profiles.

List your spec to help others with your question.

Those are EXCELLENT temperatures for that or any modern CPU. Maximum recommend temps for it is 89c so you far from it.
Speed adjustment for such fans is pretty coarse within 10-20% of set speed so fine adjustments are not necessary. My favorite RPM curve is to set minimum speed at idle with straight line to maximum RPMat maximum recommended temperature for given CPU. That's all that's needed.

Awesome, that's really good to hear, I haven't had any really long gaming sessions yet so I'll keep an eye on it but if that seems pretty good so far then I'll let it stand for now

Agreed that your temps say you have NO problem, and not likely to get into trouble. Most mobos allow you to customize the "fan curve" for each fan header. BUT unless you know WHY you NEED to do this, you are MUCH better setting each header to the manufacturer's Default setting and let that do the job.
