All too often, you'll see games and movies mention the phrase, "Bring down the hammer," and then what do they do? Unleash some bait and switch where it's really just an artillery barrage, or a nuke, or a death-beam from space obliterating an advancing army.

"Bah!" I say. When Tom's Hardware says, "Hammer Time," you know you're getting the real deal. Sure, they might put guns in the hands of geek-writer, or deep-fry a USB stick, or maybe even feed a DVD drive to a dog - but you know that, at some point, something's getting beat with an actual hammer.

In these trying times of misleading advertising, it's good to know that there's still one site man enough to back up their promises and actually haul off and whack something with a hammer. This summer, when you see Thor, I invite you to join me in scoffing and saying, "That's not a hammer - accept no substitutes!"

Hammer Time, indeed.

I would like to be entered but as I find Facebook to be the DEVIL, I can't "Like" your profile. Maybe when I retire and actually have no life, I'll find time for Facebook. Think you'll have another hammer give away in 25-30 years? :)

Awsome! An opportunity to complete my testing hardware with a Tom's Hardware hammer.
