The first thing I would do once i exit out of vault 111 is trek through the lands of massachusetts and out of boston until i make it back to my home town of Springfield Massachusetts and go to my uncles house where he has a collection of old bottle caps and a gunlocker in his basement while the guns may be a little behind the technology of fallout 4 theres still a pretty sweet amount of old timey war stuff and the bottle caps are vintage so maybe theyd go for more 😀 also he has a nice projector and a crapton of old war movies and kungfu flicks to keep my morale up throughout the wastelands. He also has some wine down their ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)

Pick up everything from the ground around me. Figure out and apply camouflage. Scavenge for weapons. Stalk and then kill everyone holding a weapon. Play dice for bottle caps with the survivors. Kill the winners and take their caps. Play dice with the survivors again.

HAHAHA

After leaving the VAULT since it is Boston with a ton of history, id probably would try to find the Freedom Trail is its still intact. I have walked it in real life last time I was in Boston. It be a cool be cool to see it after a nuclear fallout. 😉

Hmm probably let out the longest, dankest, foul smelling fart the world has ever known. I'd been holding it in for years... enclosed spaces n' all...

Gotta get Dogmeat. You need Dogmeat. Dog meat is delicious. After that, grab every item, do every quest, and be upset that I didn't get anything done for three months.

"What would you do immediately after emerging from a vault in the year 2277?"

Find some gosh darn twinkies! Then I would attempt to find a working tank, I've always wanted to drive one!

I would probably find a few canine companions and befriend them, resulting in me naming myself houndmaster. Then I would go around Boston, looking for any survivors. Oh,and pizza. I would definitely be looking for pizza.

First of all, seeing how the outside world would look like would be shocking. After that, I would probably just walk around seeing all the decayed building and rubble.

First after i emerge ill do the same thing i always do i fallout games and never learn from, go straight for what area looks interesting and end up being Rekt'd by bandits since my body clearly wasnt ready for that ! - After i recover from said bandits i will start to horde everything .. As in HORDE ALL ZHE LOOTS way! - more than likely end up travelling great distances on foot to get back to my shelter since i have too much weight on me and rather spend 30min to walk than leave 1 item behind to be able to fast travel.

After my hording period ill go back to said bandits with all my shinies and make some nuclear BBQ out of their flok ! - after my revenge has been served "well done" - ill head back to start the storyline :¤

To finally walk out after a life underground would be quite a shock. Life was so safe, now almost the polar opposite.Everything is new and unknown.
First step is to scout out a camp or settlement while keeping out of the way. Get in, see if they're friendly, find some armor and a good weapon. Rob them blind if they don't seem sympathetic, make friends if more promising. Preferably be friends with big brawny mutants, better have them on your side in a fight.
Then get rich, find a lady friend and settle down in the middle of mutant town, preferably the other side of the map from friggin' deathclaw valley. Grow some trees and a vegetable garden with seeds from the vault, everyone'll be jelly.

I would think of all the post apocalyptic movies I seen in my life, and try to make that my reality.

I would think why it is said that such movies aren't educative, when the "The Book of ELI" is the proper survival guide :O

-> therefore a proper implementation of all the knowledge acquired in these movies will follow<-

Personally, I would find the nearest store and start scavenging. Having to live off the land and survival instincts, I would be forced to rely on my military training. Best case scenario, I find a sort of Costco/Walmart and hole up while finding something to survive with, being a weapon to kill for food/protection, and stockpile food to be able to sell/give to others. All in all, I'd try to help anyone that needed it, but try to take it, and military takes over.
